Introducing a grassland resource survey and intelligent analysis system

Abstract
Grassland resource surveys and monitoring are essential for maintaining a dynamic grassland resource, scientific grassland protection and development, grassland ecological construction, and the promotion of rational grassland use. The research team aimed to solve the problems of cumbersome traditional grassland resource survey processes, low work efficiency, poor multi-person collaboration, separation of field survey and office work, and difficulties in data sharing by using artificial intelligence and other technologies to design and develop a platform for investigation and intelligent analysis for grassland resource surveys. The system comprised grassland resource monitoring, an intelligent analysis system, and the “Grass Mate” app. This setup can achieve field survey task planning and decomposition, data entry and dynamic transmission, image collection and intelligence analysis, automatic database construction, and data processing analysis. Additionally, it can provide essential data support for the whole digital operation of grassland resource field investigation and intelligent analysis, data sharing, in-depth mining, and application of grassland types, pasture plants, grassland coverage, and other related data. The proposed system can contribute significantly to the development of intelligent prataculture in China.
