Insight into the construction of a comprehensive observation system of natural resource elements in Yunnan Guizhou Plateau

Abstract
With global warming and the increasing impact of human activities, the ecological environment of the Yunnan Guizhou Plateau has become increasingly fragile and sensitive. Various resource and environmental problems, such as biodiversity damage, water shortage, the contradiction between man and land, and degradation of lake and wetland service functions, are becoming increasingly prominent, restricting the coordinated and integrated development of regional ecosystems, resources and environment systems, and socio-economic systems. Building a comprehensive observation station network system of natural resource elements and carrying out three-dimensional collaborative observation and scientific research experiments of multi-station, multi-scale, multi-method, multi-element, and multi-process has become a strategic, urgent and important work. Based on the ecological geography, climate environment, natural resources, and other characteristics of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, combined with the overview of existing observation stations, this study puts forward the construction conception of three natural resource elements comprehensive observation station network systems: Glacier wetland hydrometeorological ecological vegetation comprehensive observation network in the Alpine Canyon Area, Comprehensive observation network of farmland wetland hydrometeorological ecological vegetation in the Plateau Basin, Comprehensive observation network of hydrological, meteorological and ecological vegetation in the fragile environment in the middle and low mountain and hilly areas. At the same time, future work is considered and prospected from four aspects: an observation index system, station network integration and co-construction, three-dimensional collaborative observation, and research on vital scientific problems to provide suggestions and references for the construction and development of the Yunnan Guizhou Plateau observation system.
