The value and practical path of integrating agricultural ethics into the ideological and political construction of agricultural colleges and universities

The lack of agricultural ethics is one of the root causes of China’s “three rural problems” that have not been properly solved for a long time, and the ideological and political construction of colleges and universities is an important starting point for improving the quality of talent training. This paper expounds the origin and development of agricultural ethics at home and abroad, the connotation of agricultural ethics in China, and the value of integrating agricultural ethics into the ideological and political curriculum of agricultural colleges, and puts forward suggestions for promoting the core general education course of agricultural ethics, establishing a research system of agricultural ethics, exploring the ideological and political elements in agricultural ethics, building an ideological and political exchange platform for agricultural ethics courses, and improving the evaluation system of ideological and political teaching of agricultural ethics courses, which is of great significance for promoting the construction of agricultural ethics discipline system and promoting the sustainable development of agriculture.
